Patrice Williams Booker received her Bachelor's of Social Work from Southern University A&M College and her Master's of Social Work from University of Houston. She has 27 years of extensive experience in the areas of mental health, homelessness, renal social work, geriatric populations and veteran's affairs.
She has been licensed as a clinical social worker for 16 years. Ms. Booker is currently providing psychotherapy, consulting, and supervision services in person and virtually. She specializes in assisting individuals to cope with life's stressors, depression, and anxiety utilizing cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused techniques. She also has a passion for educating communities on mental health and assisting persons of color coping with intergenerational trauma.
After each session with me as your clinician, you can expect to feel valued, heard and "lighter" as you will have a space to process your life stressors.
I utilize a client-centered, solution-focused therapeutic approach. My specialties include women's issues and issues surrounding people of color.
